This care module contributes to improved treatment and more efficient consultations. Patients complete the Asthma Control Questionnaire (ACQ) in the Viduet app at the appointed times. This questionnaire gives the patient and healthcare professional insight into the extent the patient has his asthma under control. In addition, the patient answers questions about compliance and use of additional medication.
When the outcomes exceed the thresholds, the healthcare professional is informed as required. In this way, Viduet helps to early recognize symptoms and take appropriate action immediately. This care module contributes to improved treatment of asthma patients within primary care.
In addition, this care module contributes to more efficient consultations. Because Viduet provides insight into trends of symptoms for both patient and healthcare professional, consultations can be used more efficiently and the number of consultations can be reduced.
This care module gives patients with asthma even more control over managing their own health. Patients regularly complete the Asthma Control Questionnaire (ACQ) in the Viduet app. The outcome of this questionnaire gives them insight into how well they are controlling their asthma. In addition, the patient also answers questions about compliance and use of additional medication.
Viduet will support the patient in recognizing any worsening of symptoms in a timely manner. Depending on the degree of deterioration, the patient is immediately coached to either take additional medication or to contact the general practice. The general practice can be informed in the desired manner so that important events are recorded appropriately. In this way, Viduet contributes to improved treatment in which appropriate action is taken more quickly once intervention is required.

Exercise is an important factor that can influence the disease course of patients with asthma. Using the Activity Coach care module, you will ensure that your patient is coached to adopt optimal movement patterns.
When you choose to deploy the Activity Coach, the patient will track their movement patterns through the smartwatch. Using our specially developed software for this smartwatch, patients will be coached throughout the day to move within the ranges set by their healthcare provider.
This care module can easily be combined with coaching by a physiotherapist. In that case, the physiotherapist can set the optimal bandwidths and adjust them as needed. Through a smart algorithm, Viduet recognizes when the patient moves out of bandwidth for an extended period of time. Viduet can then also inform the physiotherapist in the desired manner so that the set bandwidths can be revised if necessary.
