With Viduet, the patient measures his/her blood pressure at home in a completely reliable way. This will give you a better understanding of your patients’ blood pressure data and allow you to easily determine if and how much medication a patient with hypertension needs.
Viduet uses the protocolized home measurement advised by the Dutch and European CVRM guidelines. This method was developed in cooperation with the Department of Vascular Medicine at UMC Utrecht and is also reimbursed by all Dutch health insurance companies. The CVRM care modules use the validated Microlife blood pressure monitor, which screens for atrial fibrillation in addition to measuring blood pressure. It is also possible to use Viduet to perform cardiac rhythm diagnostics via Viduet-connected 6-lead ECG home measurement devices.

Atrial fibrillation detection is an extension of the hypertension module, in which the patient performs a protocolized home blood pressure measurement and screening for atrial fibrillation is performed in addition to blood pressure measurement. Multiple clinical studies have shown that the Microlife blood pressure monitors used in Viduet’s protocolized home blood pressure measurements can reliably detect atrial fibrillation. With a 98% sensitivity and 92% specificity on detecting atrial fibrillation, these blood pressure monitors are excellent for detecting atrial fibrillation.

With this care module, Viduet offers the ability to easily perform a diagnostic weekly measurement. After the patient is enrolled, he receives a package containing all the equipment and a manual.
Once the diagnostic weekly measurement, fully in accordance with the Dutch hypertension guideline has been performed, Viduet informs caregiver and patient in the desired manner. The results of the protocolized weekly measurement can be sent directly to the HIS as a lab value.
In addition, Viduet creates a clear report of the protocolled weekly measurement and makes it visible in the dashboard. You can use these to discuss the readings with the patient. If the patient is found to have hypertension, you can easily convert the patient to medication titration.
With this care module, Viduet allows patients who have symptoms consistent with atrial fibrillation to independently perform ECG measurements at the times when they experience symptoms. Patients are loaned a 6-lead ECG device for this purpose. This compact device is linked via bluetooth to the Viduet app. After the measurement, the ECG is immediately visible in Viduet for the caregiver. In this way, Viduet offers the ability to reliably diagnose atrial fibrillation.
If desired, this care module can also be used in collaboration with the hospital. Thus, if desired, the ECG can also be reviewed by the cardiologist in the hospital.
With this care module, Viduet offers the opportunity to set up the medication adjustment phase of patients with hypertension as efficiently and reliably as possible. After the patient is enrolled, he receives a package containing all the equipment and a manual.
