With this care module, Viduet allows patients with heart failure to be intensively monitored for weight gain, blood pressure, symptoms and, if desired, oxygen saturation.
Patients regularly measure their weight, blood pressure and possibly oxygen saturation at home. Through our linked measuring equipment, all these values are transmitted directly to Viduet. The patient also completes a questionnaire on a regular basis.
As soon as the readings give cause for action, hospital and/or patient will be informed immediately in the desired manner. In this way, appropriate action can be taken in a timely manner and time can be saved in the administration of these values.
With this care module, Viduet allows patients who have symptoms consistent with atrial fibrillation to independently perform ECG measurements at the times when they experience symptoms. Patients are loaned a 6-lead ECG device for this purpose. This compact device is linked via bluetooth to the Viduet app. After the measurement, the ECG is immediately visible in Viduet for the caregiver. In this way, Viduet offers the ability to diagnose atrial fibrillation in a reliable way.
Exercise is an important factor that can influence the disease course of patients with heart failure. Using the Activity Coach care module, you will ensure that your patient is coached to adopt optimal movement patterns.
When you choose to deploy the Activity Coach, the patient will track their movement patterns through the smartwatch. Using our specially developed software for this smartwatch, patients will be coached throughout the day to move within the ranges set by their healthcare provider.
This care module can easily be combined with coaching by a physiotherapist. In that case, the physiotherapist can set the optimal bandwidths and adjust them as needed. Through a smart algorithm, Viduet recognizes when the patient moves out of bandwidth for an extended period of time. Viduet can then also inform the physiotherapist in the desired manner so that the set bandwidths can be revised if necessary.
With this care module, Viduet provides an opportunity for patients with heart failure to take greater control over managing their own health. The patient regularly measures his weight, blood pressure and, if necessary, oxygen saturation. Through our linked measuring equipment, all these values are transmitted directly to Viduet.
As soon as the patient measures outside his bandwidths, a questionnaire will immediately be sent asking relevant symptoms.
Viduet will support the patient in recognizing any deterioration in a timely manner. Depending on the degree of deterioration, the patient is immediately coached to either take additional medication or contact the hospital. The hospital can also be informed of this in the desired manner so that important events are recorded appropriately.
